Hoverbike

This hoverbike was created based on concept art by Lipatov on DeviantArt. It was created with a variety of programs including Maya, 3DS Max, and Photoshop, and it is shown as it appears in the Unreal Tournament 3 Engine. I have also animated a 360 view of the hoverbike; that video can be viewed below.
This was truly a labor of love; the first time I saw the concept that this hoverbike was based on I absolutely had to build it. It was also my first try at creating a car paint shader from scratch. I painted all of the textures by hand and spent time perfecting the chrome shader for the metal parts of the bike. I had a lot of fun putting this bike together!
In total it took about 22 hours for me to complete this scene, including modeling, unwrapping, texturing, creating shaders, and creating a camera animation. It is built up of 5,562 quads/11,174 tris.
