Taliesin West
This scene was created based on the living room in Frank Lloyd Wright's studio in Arizona, Taliesin West. It was created entirely in Maya.
Frank Lloyd Wright is one of my favorite architects. He was so versatile in what he did, not only was he able to design beautiful buildings but he populated them with unique furniture as well. I was inspired by the furniture of this room; the "Origami" chairs and matching end tables were very fun to build in 3D. As the project was called for to be done in Maya I felt it was a great time to take advantage of its lighting capabilities and really bring out the warm atmosphere of this room.
